CTE Toolkit Information

Choosing a career isn’t easy for students, particularly when they’re not sure how to reach their career goals. To help your students discover their unique pathway to success—and to give you the tools to point them in the right direction—we have created the WhoDoUWant2B.com CTE Toolkit.

This toolkit contains everything you need to help your students map out a path to a successful career, including:

  • Class Planning Tear Pads - Once your students choose a career avenue that interests them, these pads will help them select the right classes to stay on the path. Each sheet features a complete course map for your students’ secondary and postsecondary classes, along with a list of possible career options for each pathway.
  • Counselor Planning Cards - These 15 color-coded cards contain sample course listings for each pathway, plus a list of related careers organized by education level. Using these cards, students can fine-tune their career preferences and visualize the corresponding educational pathway.

The WhoDoUWant2B.com CTE Toolkit comes in its own custom carrying case and includes the calendar, tear pads, and a full set of planning cards printed in full color on heavy-duty stock. Toolkits can be ordered for a nominal charge of $20 each.

Individual tear pad sheets and planning cards can also be downloaded as black-and-white .pdf files, and can be printed once they are downloaded. To download a particular file, go to the Resource Room and download the files you need.

The CTE Toolkit is now available online through the Student Career Pathways website. Please Click Here to view the materials.
